Welcome to Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School founded in 1959 is a wonderful Catholic secondary school. Whether you are a current or prospective student, parent, alumni, faculty/staff member or friend of Mount Carmel I hope the links to the left will provide you an encapsulated view of our philosophy, programs, and extracurricular opportunities. Since Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School serves students with diverse abilities and backgrounds, the curriculum is broad based with many opportunities for student success. Options include college level classes, technology, fine arts opportunities, and elective classes in every discipline. The small student population provides a family-like atmosphere that focuses on the recognition and success of each student. Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a college preparatory school. We are dedicated to helping young people do their best and successful members of our society, so we expect excellent academic work as you master challenging new material. We promote the development of a generous spirit and a global perspective as you participate in service projects. We expect you to grow in faith as you take part in spiritual experiences and campus ministry. As you grow from adolescence to young adulthood, you can expect to meet wonderful new friends, learn from outstanding educators, and have the opportunity to discover your gifts and talents in classes, on the athletic field, onstage, or in other clubs and activities.
