Program Details
Our preschool classes provide the opportunity for children to practice skills in a supportive environment. Our programs encourage the development of the child. We recognize that learning is a dynamic process requiring a curriculum closely matched to a child’s emerging competencies, needs, and interests.
Play is an important component of the early childhood curriculum. It is essential to a child’s s development. As a values based program, rooted in the tradition of Catholic education, The Caring Place Preschool invites children to grow and learn in the nurturing love of the faith community.
OUR PROGRAM
Our curriculum offers an abundance of reading readiness concepts which are presented using a multi-sensory approach to learning. Exposure to numbers and letter recognition will be intertwined daily in the curriculum along with verbal and listening skills. Emphasis is placed on exposure and experience rather than performance. Throughout our program there will be an attempt to nurture your child's spiritual growth. Through Christian Bible stories and songs, your child will learn that Jesus loves him/her and is a Friend and Savior.
OBJECTIVES
To introduce and model Christian values in a Christ-centered environment.
To give the child an opportunity to know success outside his/her home.
To encourage the child to think, reason and communicate his/her feelings.
To aid the child in his/her emotional and social development by encouraging self discipline.
To aid the child's development in preparation for his/her future education.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
3 Year Old Program
Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
4 Year Old Program
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Costs
4-year-olds (M,W,F morning) – $1,930
3-year-olds (Thursday morning) – $1,545
Registration Fee – $200
