New Student & Freshman Admission Process for Fall 2012

The deadline for the 3-step application process below is March 9th. Afterward, students are subject to a space available basis.  Before beginning, review the important admissions dates and financial aid, scholarship and grants information.

Step 1 – Admissions

  • Complete the Mt. Carmel Private Application
  • Send us either your Archdiocese information release form from your Catholic Elementary School or your middle school transcript if you attend a public or independent school.
  • Complete the Archdiocese High School Placement Test offered December 3, 2011.
  • Call 410-238-1163 to schedule an on-campus interview
  • Schedule a Shadow Day and spend a day at Mt. Carmel with a current freshmen or sophomore as your guide
  • Complete the Financial Aid Form (optional). Please note: Financial aid awards are only offered to applicants who have completed the admission process.

Step 2 – Registration

After receiving your acceptance letter, do the following:

Before beginning classes, do the following:

  • Complete the Math Placement Test in the Spring
  • Complete and return medical form
  • Complete and return dental form
  • Attend Freshmen Orientation in July 2012
