Transfer Student Admission Process

Transfer admission is offered on a rolling basis depending on the space in a particular grade. Before beginning, review financial aid, scholarship and grants information.

Step 1 – Admissions

  • Complete the Transfer Application
  • Complete the Information Release Form
  • Submit your current transcript with immunization records
  • Schedule an appointment with the high school principal by contacting Laura Cummins at 410-238-1163
  • Complete the Financial Aid Form (optional). Please note: Financial aid awards are only offered to applicants who have completed the admission process.

Financial Aid, Scholarships and Grants

Tuition Grants

These range from $300 - $500. Forms are available at the time of registration and students can re-apply on a yearly basis.

Memorial Scholarships

Sponsor students through gifts given as a memorial or in honor of someone.

Father Don McMaster Scholarships

These range from $300 - $500 and are awarded to freshmen who have earned the highest rank in Mathematics, English, and overall achievement. These scholarships are renewable each year as long as the student has achieved success in academics and has exhibited exemplary behavior.

The awards are offered based on the following criteria.

  • Scholarship/Admissions/Placement test
  • Elementary and Middle school performance
  • Eighth grade standardized testing information
  • Interview

Art Scholarships

These are $250 awards and are available to incoming freshmen. The scholarships are awarded to students who exhibit a high level of interest and talent in visual art. Works must be submitted through the Art department.

Dance Scholarships

These are $250 awards, and are available to incoming freshmen. An audition class is held once a year. Students should be prepared for a jazz technique dance class. The scholarships are awarded to students who display the following criteria:

  • Interest in Dance
  • Are in good academic standing
  • Exhibit behavior according to the Mt. Carmel philosophy

Music Scholarships

These are $500 awards, and are available to incoming freshmen. The scholarships are awarded to students who display an interest and talent in either voice or instrumental performance. Students must remain active in the music program and carry a 3.0 grade point average. The scholarship is renewable every year. Auditions are held in the spring.
