Academics

The academic program at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is designed to meet the needs of our diverse student community. Each academic department provides learning opportunities that challenge students who are gifted as well as programs which support students who need additional assistance. Classroom presentations, student interactions, and varied assessments reflect an understanding of and a respect for the individuality of the learner. There is a focus across curricular areas to prepare students to be independent, life-long learners. Technology is integrated into all areas of the curriculum so that students benefit from primary source material and develop skills that result in the ethical and positive use of information.
