Worship at OLMC
Students attend Mass at the opening of the school year as well as Holy Days, Catholic Schools Week and Baccalaureate Mass. Prayer Services are held with the entire school community to celebrate Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas and to pray the Stations of the Cross during Lent. Students pray in the morning during homeroom announcements and before each of their classes. Through Theology classes students learn how to plan and lead prayer. There is an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation on student retreats and during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
Sacramental Preparation with Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School invites students to receive Sacramental Preparation. The ordinary setting for both Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation—including the reception of the sacraments—is within one’s parish community. We understand that every family and child's faith journey is personal.
