Mount Carmel Announces Marc Parisi as Next High School Principal
Dear Our Lady of Mount Carmel Community,
It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Mr. Marc Parisi by Archbishop Lori as the next Principal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School, serving students in Grades 9 through 12. We are excited to welcome Mr. Parisi to the Mount Carmel community and look forward to the leadership, experience, and passion he will bring to our school.
Before looking ahead, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. James Nemeth for his service and leadership as our High School Principal. We are thankful for his dedication to our students, faculty, and families and for the many contributions he made to our community.
Mr. Parisi brings more than 20 years of experience in Catholic education and has spent the past 12 years serving on the administrative team at Calvert Hall College High School. Throughout his career, he has served in campus ministry, communications, student activities, and school leadership roles while teaching theology, developing student programs, supporting fundraising initiatives, and strengthening Catholic identity.
A graduate of Catholic education himself, Mr. Parisi understands the importance of faith formation, academic excellence, and a strong school community. His collaborative leadership style and commitment to serving students and families will be tremendous assets as he joins a dedicated team of leaders committed to forging the next 100 years of Our Lady of Mount Carmel’s history with faith, hope, and dedication.
Mr. Parisi will officially begin serving as principal on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Reflecting on his appointment, Mr. Parisi shared:
"My family and I are excited to join the Our Lady of Mount Carmel community as the school enters its Centennial year. This is a special place with a rich tradition and tremendous potential for the future. I look forward to building upon that legacy, partnering with our outstanding faculty and staff, and getting to know the students, families, alumni, and supporters who make Mount Carmel such an exceptional community."
As we enter this historic Centennial year, we are grateful for the opportunity to welcome a leader who honors our rich tradition while embracing the exciting future ahead.
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Parisi and his family to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I look forward to the many blessings and opportunities ahead for our High School community.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us!
Dr. Mindi Imes
