Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Welcomes Patrick Healey as New Athletic Director

Essex, MD – October 8, 2025 — Our Lady of Mount Carmel School proudly announces the appointment of Patrick J. Healey as its new Athletic Director. Healey, a decorated athlete and accomplished coach, brings an impressive record of leadership and achievement across collegiate, professional, and youth athletics.

A graduate of Towson University with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration, Healey’s athletic career includes a decade as a professional soccer player with the Baltimore Blast, Chicago Fire, and D.C. United, as well as serving as captain of the U.S. National Futsal Team from 2015 to 2018. His achievements include:

  • Five-time league champion with the Baltimore Blast
  • Two-time MASL Defender of the Year
  • Inductee, Maryland State Soccer Hall of Fame (2024)
  • Inductee, Baltimore Blast Hall of Fame (2025)

In addition to his playing career, Healey has distinguished himself as a coach and mentor. He has served as Head Coach and General Manager of the Harrisburg Heat since 2018 and as Head Coach and Director of Player Development with the Baltimore Bays Soccer Club since 2008. His leadership has guided youth teams to multiple national championships and developed players who exemplify discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Healey shared his enthusiasm for joining the OLMC community:
